kwara state.jpg (110.29 KB, 900x342 )

Here is a listing of some of the most beautiful places and tourist attractions in Africa. It would be great to visit one of Africa's many destinations just to have an opprtuntity to walk along the beach and see the beautiful back drop.

According to the Global Grass Hopper these are the Top 10 places to visit in South Africa – South Africa is a beautiful and exciting country. It’s home to a wonderful mix of beaches, mountains, wildlife and 2500km of incredible coastline. Famous for its gold and diamonds and also for its fondness for sport – especially rugby. If you get a chance to see the Springboks in action, it will give you a real understanding of passion. Like any country of South Africa’s size, travelling in South Africa can be tricky.

The Everday Problems In This life

Norman Rockwell: The Problem We All Live With

Thursday, August 18, 2011

In The Problem We All Live With, Rockwell explored segregation. The work graced the cover of Look in 1964. Note the racial slurs on the wall and the stains from thrown tomatoes, as well as the fact that the little girl is escorted to school by faceless Federal Marshals.

“The Problem We All Live With” (1964) is arguably the best Norman Rockwell painting ever. It shows Ruby Bridges, a six-year-old black girl, walking to school – with four guards. It is 1960 in New Orleans. It is the first time a black child is going to an all-white grade school in the American South.

Geological age of Africa

I, find it interesting the way African people live.
Most of the population in Africa live on plateaus (high plains), which are of altitudes in excess of 1000 meters above sea level. Altitude moderates temperature; consequently, although most of Africa is tropical (approximately 80% of Africa lies between latitudes 23 ½ degree north, the Tropic Cancer, and 23 ½ degrees south, the Tropic of Capricorn) the climate is quite moderate and not indicative of the tropics. In well-watered areas, dominant crops grown and animals raised are similar to those in temperate zones.
